| Benefits of Membership |
The Association provides on-going support and services for its members and
opportunities to network with other individuals and organisations
associated with the industry. Through this network, members are able to
grow and expand their business. The Association helps its members through
meetings, trade nights and a monthly newsletter to keep abreast of
developments in the industry and to represent their interests to
Government, Regulatory Bodies and other organisations.
The Association has also negotiated concessions from many local and
national businesses to help Members cut their costs. Members who take
advantage of these concessions may, depending on the concession, recover
the costs of their Association Membership for the year. The discount on
mobile phones alone can save several hundred dollars per year. National
Fleet Discount on a new Mitsubishi will save many thousands of dollars.
The Association encourages its members to identify products or services
for concessions, and the Association will negotiate on behalf of all
members.

All members are invited to attend a bi-monthly General Meeting for members
held on the third Wednesday of each month. These usually coincide with a
trade presentation by manufacturers or government regulators. Minutes of
this meeting are circulated to members who are unable to attend the
meeting.
In addition to General Meetings, an Executive Meeting of the Association
Board is held on the second Wednesday of each month to consider and make
decisions on matters affecting the day-to-day operations of the industry.
Trade Nights
Trade nights, designed to keep Members abreast of the latest products and
technology as well as changes to regulations and procedures affecting the
industry, are held on a regular basis, usually coinciding with bi-monthly
General Meetings.
